Re: "Scope eye"
I have a freind who was scoped. A year later I am at his ranch and want to shoot the rifle. He says sure but he will shoot first. He kneels down and begins to pull the trigger, however at the same time he pulls his head away from the stock of the gun. :shocked_ma: The barrel rises and he shoots a power cable about 700 yards out. :confused_ma:The cable breaks and shoots sparks. The power went out to everyone above his ranch in the valley.

Re: "Scope eye"
I've only shot with sights. So what is trick to shoot correctly with a scope? That you make sure that the stock is rested against your shoulder properly and that you don't have your head to closely to the scope?

Re: "Scope eye"
Make sure you have propery eye relief. First start with a strong comfortable cheeck weld and make sure the but of the rifle is in the crevice of your shoulder and collar bone. Then you can check your eye relief by looking through the scope and moving it back and forth. When you see the black ring moving in from the outside of the lens move it to just the point where the black ring goes away. The scope is usually between two and three inches away from your eye. That should give you proper eye relef. If you follow the above you will be fine shooting your nifty fifty.
